Glenwood Recreation Center Programs   The Glenwood Wellness and Recreation Center is offering several new recreational programs at the Center this winter.   Check out the Pee Wee Basketball. Raiders Strike Silver at Nationals   The Glenwood Raiders U-16 3V3 team captured second place at the Summit 3V3 National Championships January 15th and 16th. Super Grands X World Championships of Karate   Seven members of the local White Tiger Karate Club competed in the exclusive world championships of karate.  This invitational tournament is held annually for martial artists who have competed nationally and won enough points to qualify for the championships. Glenwood Boy's Basketball Falls to Mustangs   The Glenwood boy’s varsity basketball team faced the Shenandoah Mustangs in the second game of the varsity double header Tuesday night. While the girl’s team was able to win against Shenandoah, the boys were not as fortunate. The Rams lost to the Mustangs 74-57. Glenwood Girls Basketball Team Beats Shenandoah Fillies    The Glenwood girl’s basketball team traveled to Shenandoah Tuesday night to face the Fillies in the first game of a varsity double header. Lady Rams Win in OT over Clarinda    Leadership is a big key on any basketball team to be successful, and it couldn’t have proved to be more crucial in the Lady Rams 57-55 overtime win over the Clarinda Cardinals. Substance Abuse Free Environment    Some things I found out that Glenwood S.A.F.E. had accomplished in 1999. Glenwood Area Dollars for Scholars   A community organization working to provide scholarships for high school graduates who desire to continue their education.
