Ram Wrestlers Finish Strong in Big Tournament    This years varsity wrestling team is very young for the Glenwood Rams but their youth does not show at all. The leadership shows very much when the seniors are on the mat. In the last two tournaments the Rams have finished second in a field of nine teams and third in a field of 20 teams.

Glenwood Girls Basketball Defeat Fillies At Senior Night   Jane Felt, Leslie Schmailzl, Brooke Brown, Jill Dunblazer, and Melissa Jones took the home court Friday night in honor of senior night. On this night, the senior members of the boys and girls basketball teams, the cheerleading squad, and pep band were recognized and honored for their years of participation at Glenwood High School. And on this night, the girl’s basketball team earned a win against the Shenandoah Fillies.

Chamber of Commerce    On Thursday, January 20, 2000 there as a Chamber of Commerce meeting with the West Ambassador Club as hosts. Donuts, coffee, and orange juice were served. While people were eating, they were entertained by the West Singers singing two songs

Annie Get Your Gun Returns to the Barton Theater   After 20 years the Mills Masquers are bringing back the popular musical "Annie Get Your Gun" to the Barton Theater. It is the highly fictionalized telling of the story of Annie Oakley and her romance with Frank Butler, the dashing vaudeville marksman.

Chili Feed and Dance Benefit   Presented by friends and classmates of class of 1982 for Carry Edward Crill

Jobs For America’s Graduates Inc.   We have a new program in for high school seniors in Glenwood this year, it’s called Jobs for America’s Graduates. JAG is a non-profit organization that targets seniors who have barriers that might prevent them from graduating or becoming successful.
