S.A.F.E. Coalition   I attended the last S.A.F.E. meeting which was held in June.  (No meeting was held in July).  Guest Speaker Bruce Paulson, Mills County Sheriff Deputy spoke about his certification of being a Drug Recognition Expert.

Auditions For Mills Masquer's Production   Audition date is Tuesday, August 8, at 7:00 PM, at the Barton Theater, one mile North of Glenwood on highway 275. Those wishing to audition should be prepared to read from the various scripts.  Needed are 9 men, 8 women, and one young teenage male.

Grant Reminder for Mills County   Marland L. Gammon of Glenwood, Chair of the Mills County Endowment Fund, reminded Mills County not-for-profit agencies that only one month remains to apply for funds through a grant application process.
