Soccer Camp
Soccer camp
was in full swing last week at the Glenwood Sports Complex with 50 children participating in soccer activities.
The camp coaches were from England. The two youngest coaches play professional soccer in England. The two older coaches coach professionally. One of these two also coaches a recreational league in his town. They came to the United States about 6 weeks ago and travel to a different area each week for the camps.
At each location they stay with a host family. They will be here another 4 to 5 weeks before returning to England. This is a great opportunity for them to make additional money during the down season and also to travel to this part of the world.
Reactions from both the participants and their parents have been favorable. Take a look at some of the fun they were having.
