$50,000 Presented To The Mills County Endowment Fund
by

At a news conference on Thursday, December 21, advisory board members of the Mills County Endowment Fund accepted a check in the amount of $50,000 from the Southwest Iowa Foundation for the county's endowment fund. It was the second check of a 10 year New Millennium Challenge Grant Program for Mills County and is the direct result of this fall’s endowment that was created by Benjamin L. Wilson to annually benefit the Indian Creek Historical Society.  Today’s grant, along with a $50,000 grant received in 1998, has been added to the Mills County Endowment Fund to be used for discretionary grant making in Mills County.
