Should we pay for email?

There has been alot of talk around the "computer geek world" about paying for email. Some in favor are saying it would drastically reduce spam. But is it worth it? Sure it would reduce spam, but is it worth taking a free service and making us pay for it?

Who will this hurt? The individual consumer and small businesses.

Email has cleared the way to stay in touch with family and friends. It's much easier now to open our email program and send a quick email off or to reply to an email we receive. How often will we send an email if we have to keep track of the number of emails we send off each month?

Small businesses also use this to keep in touch with customers. It's quick and efficient and saves valuable time.As a small business, we are not in favor of this action. I say, get a good Spam blocking program and keep email free.

What are your thoughts?

Walking as a way of life

Regular exercise provides a myriad of health benefits for senior adults including a stronger heart, a positive mental outlook and an increased chance of remaining indefinitely independent

"Use it or lose it."

That's what doctors these days are telling senior citizens about their bodies. But seniors needn't think they have to sign up for high-impact aerobics classes or run 10K races to stay in shape. Instead, fitting a simple 35-minute walk into their daily activities can keep them physically strong and agile.
