Mills Masquers Present Melodrama
Thirty years ago, in Mills County, Iowa, a group of theater buffs started a community theater group. This group chose a melodrama for its first production – “No Opera at the Opr’y House Tonight, or Too Good To Be True”.

Glenwood Graduate dies in Iraq
Sgt. Joseph Milledge died Oct. 5 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device
detonated near their unit during combat operations.
Milledge graduated from Glenwood High School in 2002 and joined the Army in 2004.
More information concerning a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

A Christmas Story
Auditions - Cancelled
On October 7th and October 8th at 7:00 p.m. the Mills Masquers Community Theatre is supposed to be holding tryouts for this years Christmas Production, however, it is unclear at this time if that is going to happen or not. As it stands, the auditions for Jean Shepherd's "A Christmas Story" have been canceled. However, show dates for "No Opera at the Opr'y House Tonight" are October 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m, and October 14 and 21 at 2:00p.m., and their running right on schedule.
