Glenwood Florist, established in the 1940’s, first opened on the town square in Glenwood Iowa .   The shop was purchased by it’s current owner, Jane Hendrickson on September 1, 1996 .  The 1500 square foot shop soon became crowded with new inventory and lots of new customers.  To meet the goals of the shop, a larger facility would be needed.  A new 3000 square foot shop was built on 6 acres of land just outside Glenwood on Highway 275. 

My personal experience with this shop has been very positive.  I had  just happened in one day to take a look around.  As luck would have it, I was there on Free Flower Friday.  Free Flower Friday is a buy one get one free sale on all non arranged fresh flowers . . .  and it occurs every Friday! 

Flowers are not all that Glenwood Florist has to offer.  They have beautiful vases, silk flowers and antiques in the shop. During the summer, Glenwood florist stocks their garden center with quality plants, garden tools, and now have a water garden service available.
